I had driven by World of Rocks a few times and each time I said I was going to go in one day. I'm glad I did because it is one of the coolest stores ever.
World of Rocks owner, Gail, has been in business for more than twenty-five years. You can find her listing in national magazines. She has been interviewed and recognized in local publications as well.
Don't go in expecting ordinary pebbles. World of Rocks has books, fossils, birthstones, and collectibles from all over the world.
You can even sign up for a variety of creative classes. Gail will provide everything you need while other shops charge you to use their materials.
World of Rocks is located at 42 North Huron in Ypsilanti.

Make sure to bring change for the meter because you might not want to leave for a while.
